About
Science taught me to be exact. Writing taught me to be heard.
I didn't take the usual road into copywriting. I studied Genetics & Biotechnology — years spent learning that in a lab, as on a page, small details change everything. A single base pair. A single word.
Legal writing found me next, and it felt strangely familiar: the same discipline, the same intolerance for ambiguity, but aimed at people instead of cells. From there, SEO and brand copy were a short walk — once you can make a contract readable, you can make anything readable.
Somewhere along the way I became a mother, which is its own masterclass in communication: an audience with no patience, no context, and absolute honesty. Nothing sharpens your editing instinct like explaining the world to a child.
I travel whenever I can, and I read more than is reasonable. Both habits leak into my work — the curiosity, the noticing, the respect for how differently people see the same thing.
What ties it together is simple: I care about getting it right. The right fact, the right tone, the right word — in the right order.
